	COURT DRESS. Circa 1886. Dark blue velvet tail coat, breasted six cut steel buttons to front and four to tails and waist. Pockets inside tails dummey side pockets. Chest 41-2". Dark blue velvet breeches, W30", three cut steel buttons and buckles to each knee, silk lining worn at waist. Named to C Chomley Dowling Esq. Ivory silk waist coat, five covered buttons. With cased set of cut steel shoe buckles. Folding bicorn hat, rosette, five cut steel chains, size 7-1/2. VGC $900

	LORD LIEUTENANT'S BLUE PATROL. Complete uniform for an English County Lieutenant who represents the Crown at functions in the county and commands the local yeomanry. Consisting of dress cap, size 7-1/2, double oak leaf on peak, bullion rose and crown, red band, silver pated buttons, tailor Herbert Johnson. Blue patrol jacket gorgets size 44"L A/A N. Somerset Yeo buttons, heavy silver twisted cord epaulettes with bullion rose and crown, seven WWII ribbons including MC. Overalls with 2-1/2" red stripe, W 40" instep 33-1/2". Crimson and silver tasseled waist sash including under belt with sword slings. Wellington boots with box spurs, size US 12. VGC $1495
